My coursework at the University of Florida in Statistics, paired with my AI and Machine Learning Certificate, is closely aligned with my research experience and future goals. Courses like "AI Fundamentals," "Categorical Data Analysis," and "Programming with Data in R" have equipped me with the technical expertise needed to excel in my roles as a Research Assistant and Data Analyst. For example, my work on developing a natural language processing program to enhance reading fluency in young learners directly applies AI and machine learning techniques learned in the classroom. Similarly, my experience as a Data Analyst at TECO Energy, where I analyzed electric meter readings using advanced statistical methods, reflects the practical application of concepts from "Business Analytics & AI" and "Python Programming for Engineers."

These experiences are further reinforced by my role as a Teaching Assistant for "Engineering Statistics," where I deepened my understanding of core statistical methods and enhanced my ability to communicate complex ideas.
